WHO AM I?

I came to yoga in 2010, drawn initially for medical reasons, struggling with hEDS (hypermobility Ehler-Danlos-Syndrome), spinal injuries from work injuries and a car accident which all led to burnout. Physical, emotional, I couldn't carry on.

Before I came to yoga, I studied and taught languages, worked in Gastronomy, Retail and the Wine Trade. This life saw me living, working and studying in Chile and Brazil, France, Spain and Portugal as well as Swansea in Wales (4 years) and various English cities in the UK. Having lived in and around the London area for most of my life, I relocated to Southampton on the South Coast of the UK in 2010 and there began my discovery of yoga, I dove deep and have never stopped learning since, through self observation, practice and study. I've been sharing meditation and yoga and guiding meditation for 13 years now, and yoga has become a way of life, integrated into the everyday and the mundane.

YOGA AS A WAY OF LIFE

In 2016 I took the decision to move to Austria - into the Alpine valley known as Lechtal (The Lech Valley) in Tirol. I spent two years in Dornbirn, Vorarlberg, where I met all kinds of wonderful people through yoga, kirtan (mantra singing) events, ecstatic dance events, learning German, teaching English and more. I continue to return to the Rheintal regularly, although more for pleasure than for work. I feel drawn to the elements, working increasingly with water, up here where many of the great rivers begin. I am learning the language of my English ancestors since I did my Grail Priestess training, "Proto Celtic", brought back to life by the dedication of Carolyn Hillyer and shared with me by Tara Brading and also my fellow Grail Priestess, the songstress Ayla Schafer.

Inspired and uplifted by the wild nature and meditative grace here, my story here continues to unfold, and I am eternally grateful for the opportunities and support that I receive here. I now focus almost entirely on yoga, Thai yoga massage, Akashic alchemy, ancestral work and creating music, learning more energy work and continuing to practice and embody what I have learned.

Mother Nature is one of my greatest teachers. In my spare time, I love to get out into the forest and the mountains with my dog, I enjoy spending time foraging, forest bathing, barefoot walking, toe dipping and swimming in cold lakes and rivers. I love gardening and since building a house in the Alps, I have project garden to initiate in the next few years!
